" Tunison's I wish you well in your retirement. You have been an inspiration to many who have been fortunate enough to sit in your classrooms. "

" What a loss for HHS! Hopefully you will find time to be on the grand jury though; you'd be a GREAT member, and boy, are smart, competent members needed these days!
I appreciate all you've done for our kids--I can tell you for a fact you both had a positive impact on mine. You'd be proud to claim them as former students! "

" Let's extend mandatory retirement to 65 for teachers then we could keep good people like the Tunisons. "

" Like Mark said, it will seem like a summer vacation until August and then you really will know you retired. Enjoy it, because you have earned it. Not many people can say that but you two are a team at home and at school. Mrs. T, the grand jury is waiting for your abilities!! "

" Mr. Tunison will be sorely missed. It has been quite some time since I graduated but I still have a # of the pots that I threw in his class scattered threw out my family's different homes. Being an athlete in school I never paid much attention to the arts but really became a pottery finatic. I was lucky enough to be invited to a few competiotions with Mr. Tunison. My brother also enjoyed his class and I'm sad to say that my son is currently ia junior in his class and will miss him greatly next year . Thanks for all the Great Years and enjoy your retirement... Bass fishing is a Great Hobby.... "

" This is the worst news I've ever heard. The Tunisons are retiring? Who authorized that? I remember Mrs. T from being my favorite substitute teacher at Woodrow Wilson, then several years later as a co-advisor for Y&G. She insisted I call her by her first name. I just couldn't do it.
Their contributions as teachers and just flat-out good people will never be forgotten.
